Who is responsible for your information

Repair My Shed is operated by Repair My Shed Limited (company number 13403676), The Yard, Botley Road, North Baddesley, SO52 9DP. Questions and data requests can be sent to info@repairmyshed.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request a quote we collect your name, contact details, postcode, job description and any photographs you choose to upload. Franchise enquiries may also include your proposed territory, background and business goals. We record the date of submission and a security hash used to reduce spam; we do not store your raw IP address.

If you use the postcode checker, the postcode is sent to Postcodes.io to obtain its approximate coordinates and calculate the distance from SO52 9DP. Using the checker does not create or submit an enquiry.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, assess the requested work or territory, prepare quotations, keep appropriate business records and protect the service from abuse. The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal duties and our legitimate interests in running a secure service.

Photographs and storage

Uploaded photographs are stored securely outside the public website and are available only to authorised people handling your enquiry. Please avoid including people, vehicle registrations or unrelated private information in photographs.

Sharing and retention

We share data only with service providers or professional advisers needed to operate the business, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data. Unsuccessful enquiries are normally reviewed for deletion after 24 months; contractual, tax and warranty records may be kept longer where required.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, we record limited events such as page views and quote-button clicks without advertising cookies or a raw IP address. Your preference is stored locally on your device and can be cleared through your browser storage settings.
